EMOTIV NEUROHEADSET

Emotiv created the EPOC neuroheadset, a headset that gives you the power to control devices with your brain. They’ve made it available to developpers which gives them the change to come up with devices that can be controlled by the EPOC. Controlling videogames and wheelchairs has already been done, i’m really curious what the next thing will be. It’s available for to everyone varying from $299  to $2500, not that cheap, but it has to start somewhere. Gaming with your brain. Awesome. More about the Emotiv EPOC here.

WAVEBOARD FOR iPHONE

As Google only gives us the opportunity to access Google Wave through a web-browser, i’ve started to use Waveboard. A simple desktop tool to give you access to your wave’s without the use of any browser. Probably old news you’d say, but the Waveboard guys didn’t stop there. They’ve provided us with a Mobile application for the iPhone. Which works pretty good if you ask me, it’s still a bit slow but they’ve found a good solution for making the start-up time useful. Quick-view gives you the opportunity to read(-only) your messages while waiting for the app to load. As i said it’s still a bit slow, but it’s still faster than using your browser. You can download the waveboard for your desktop and iPhone here.
